Privacy Policy

I'm Gibson Veninga, a sole proprietor operating in Ontario, Canada. This page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects, why, how long it's kept, and how you can ask me about it.

What I Collect

There are two sources of information on this site:

• Booking details. If you book an assessment through the Calendly scheduler on this site, I receive the details you enter there — such as your name, email address, phone number, and any answers you give to the booking questions — along with the time you chose.
• Analytics data. This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use it — things like which pages are viewed, general device and browser type, and an approximate location based on IP address. GA4 uses cookies to do this.

Why I Collect It

Booking details are used for one purpose: to hold your assessment and contact you about it, including any follow-up you ask for. Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand site traffic and improve the site — it's not used to identify you personally.

How Long I Keep It

• Booking details: kept for 24 months, then deleted.
• GA4 analytics data: kept for 14 months, then deleted.

Where Your Data Goes

I use outside service providers to run this site and follow up with leads. Some of them process data on servers located in the United States, which means your information may be subject to access under U.S. law while it's there — this is normal for small businesses using common software tools, but you should know about it. The providers I currently use are:

• Google Analytics (Google LLC) — analytics data, processed in the United States.
• Calendly (Calendly LLC) — booking details, processed in the United States. The scheduler embedded on this site is run by Calendly and may set its own cookies; see Calendly's privacy notice for how it handles them.

Your Rights

You can ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. To make a request, email me at the address below and I'll respond as soon as I reasonably can.

Changes to This Policy

If I change what I collect or how I use it, I'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top.
