Privacy Policy

I'm Gibson Veninga, a sole proprietor operating in Ontario, Canada. This page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects, why, how long it's kept, and how you can ask me about it.

What I Collect

There are two sources of information on this site:

  • Contact form submissions. If you fill out the form on this site, I collect your name, business name, location, and phone number.
  • Analytics data. This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use it — things like which pages are viewed, general device and browser type, and an approximate location based on IP address. GA4 uses cookies to do this.

Why I Collect It

Contact form details are used for one purpose: to follow up with you by phone or text about the automation work you inquired about. Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand site traffic and improve the site — it's not used to identify you personally.

How Long I Keep It

  • Contact form submissions: kept for 24 months, then deleted.
  • GA4 analytics data: kept for 14 months, then deleted.

Where Your Data Goes

I use outside service providers to run this site and follow up with leads. Some of them process data on servers located in the United States, which means your information may be subject to access under U.S. law while it's there — this is normal for small businesses using common software tools, but you should know about it. The providers I currently use are:

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) — analytics data, processed in the United States.
  • Make.com — contact form data, processed in the United States.

Your Rights

You can ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. To make a request, email me at the address below and I'll respond as soon as I reasonably can.

Changes to This Policy

If I change what I collect or how I use it, I'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top.
